May 4th 2008 - "Don't doubt God"

Stand and watch for the Lord....we must continually battle against doubt.
Don’t listen to all what others say as they will often come with negativity or things to confuse you.
When doubt arrives so does the devil and he is a liar! He told Jesus ‘I’ will give you all the kingdoms of the earth if you worship me but Jesus knew that all the kingdoms belonged to God.
Doubt sits in the middle of your revelation. God shows up during our ‘doubt’ but we don’t recognise this or even ignore it!
“And the Lord answered me and said, Write the vision and engrave it so plainly upon tablets that everyone who passes may [be able to] read [it easily and quickly] as he hastens by”.
Habakkuk 2:2
Do as the word of God says and write your visions down, the doubters will run from it. When God gives a vision or word it will come to pass. But if a man gives a vision then it can fall. If you believe in something and you are steadfast and don’t ‘doubt’ then you WILL get an answer.
Remember pride assists us to doubt.
If you have to receive the same word over and over then something is wrong. Those who doubt can lose their glory, we must learn to stop doubting it’s a very dangerous thing.
Another example of this is in the book of Judges 4:4
“Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, was judging Israel at that time. 5 And she would sit under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the mountains of Ephraim. And the children of Israel came up to her for judgment. 6 Then she sent and called for Barak the son of Abinoam from Kedesh in Naphtali, and said to him, “Has not the LORD God of Israel commanded, ‘Go and deploy troops at Mount Tabor; take with you ten thousand men of the sons of Naphtali and of the sons of Zebulun; 7 and against you I will deploy Sisera, the commander of Jabin’s army, with his chariots and his multitude at the River Kishon; and I will deliver him into your hand’?” 8 And Barak said to her, “If you will go with me, then I will go; but if you will not go with me, I will not go!” 9 So she said, “I will surely go with you; nevertheless there will be no glory for you in the journey you are taking, for the LORD will sell Sisera into the hand of a woman.” Then Deborah arose and went with Barak to Kedesh”.
Although a prophetess had told him that he would win the battle he still asked her to comes along ‘just in case’. Immediately she told him that what was coming to him would be given into the hands of someone else.

April 27th 08 - "Walk in your delieverance - Part 2"

You only receive what you believe. ….
Why is it when people do sorcery it is so easy for others to believe?
“But there was a certain man called Simon, who previously practiced sorcery in the city and astonished the people of Samaria, claiming that he was someone great, 10 to whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, “This man is the great power of God.” 11 And they heeded him because he had astonished them with his sorceries for a long time.”
Acts 8:9 – 11
This must mean that people believe more in evil then they do good. Why do people want to believe in things that are not of God??
Listen children of God, the light inside of you…….darkness cannot comprehend it! So it makes sense that the darkness it drawn to you and that’s why people will come against you in life because they don’t know how to handle the light.
You are a child of God so don’t bow down to the darkness! Walk with your head up, Jesus died for your dignity!
Eventually the darkness will have to conform to the light, so don’t let your light be dull. That light can save souls for the kingdom of God.
Children of darkness are in fact smarter then us……! This is because they fully understand the influence they have on people and we, the ones you carry the light have to be constantly reminded. We are in the world but not of it…..so why ask the darkness which why to go??
Simon may have given up the sorcery to do Gods work but like most today he wasn’t filled with the Holy Spirit. Many only come to Christ for more money, power, praise and respect. They see the power and delight that comes from the Lord.
“And when Simon saw that through the laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Spirit was given, he offered them money, 19 saying, “Give me this power also, that anyone on whom I lay hands may receive the Holy Spirit.”
Acts 8:18-19
But instead of glorifying God they want to gain it all for their own glory. You can’t by Gods power!
“But Peter said to him, “Your money perish with you, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money! 21 You have neither part nor portion in this matter, for your heart is not right in the sight of God.”
Acts 8:20-21
How many of us serve the church and don’t service God?? But God can change this! It’s up to those who worship him in true and spirit to intercede.
Our hearts are bound with iniquity and we must ask for forgiveness and receive it!
“For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity.”
Acts 8:23
Don’t be a lazy believer and show how likely you are to turn from God. Those kinds of ‘Christians’ are usually the ones who say ‘pray for me’ when they are being delivered.
“Then Simon answered and said, “Pray to the Lord for me, that none of the things which you have spoken may come upon me.”
Acts 8: 24
Don’t be bound! Let you light shine no matter how dull it is!

"Walking in your deliverance" - April 20th

Why is it people are being delivered once then once for the same thing? One of the main things that prevent us from walking in out ‘deliverance’ is doubt. If I told you that there was a million pounds in the boot of your car you would look but you are skeptical and ‘doubt’ that there actually was.
You can have faith and to believe that you can be delivered or blessed, but once you step out of church you doubt that it done. Remember Jesus said IT IS FINISHED!
One great example of this is Zechariahin the father of John the Baptist. This was a disciplined, faithful and obedient man of God who was rigid in his ways and always did what he was asked to do. One day he stood in fear as an angel of the Lord appeared and told him that his prayer has been answered and his wife Elizabeth will bear a son.
And doubt set in!
“Zechariah asked the angel, "How can I be sure of this? I am an old man and my wife is well along in years."
Luke 1:18
Now as Zechariah was a righteous man and so what ever he confesses with his mouth would come to pass. Words are power and life and death are in the tongue and because God new that Zechariah doubted this would happen and would speak against it, he silenced him.
“The angel answered, "I am Gabriel. I stand in the presence of God, and I have been sent to speak to you and to tell you this good news. 20And now you will be silent and not able to speak until the day this happens, because you did not believe my words, which will come true at their proper time."
Luke 1:19
If we continue to doubt what our LIMITLESS and almighty God has told you then how can you move to the next level?? If you speak against you Word then you WILL be silenced! He is FAITHFULLY! We confess it with our mouths but don’t walk in it!

9th March 08 - "A Biblical view of Relationships Part 4"

REMEMBER you must the thing’s of God first before you find your appointed one. God blessed Abraham with ALL things and when he sent out his servant said to find his son a wife he seeked God first even though the woman was not for him!
“Then he prayed, O LORD, God of my master Abraham, give me success today, and show kindness to my master Abraham.”
Genesis 24:12
And almost immediately he met Rachael who did just as he had asked God to do, she showed him a sign.
“May it be that when I say to a girl, 'Please let down your jar that I may have a drink,' and she says, 'Drink, and I'll water your camels too'— let her be the one you have chosen for your servant Isaac. By this I will know that you have shown kindness to my master.”
Genesis 24:14

Once Jacob had met Rachael he kissed her check and wept! Now that’s a man who was truly in love!
“Then Jacob kissed Rachel and began to weep aloud.”
Genesis 29:11

He then spoke to her father about wanting to be with her, this is God’s way and should still be done now! MEN! if you cannot present yourself to her father then go to her spiritual father, her pastor.
We have to be so careful not to sew seeds in the wrong land because the land could ‘reject’ that seed.
God will always take care of his creation, so he has prepared the best for you.
10 [A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. 11 Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value.
12 She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. 13 She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands. 14 She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar. 15 She gets up while it is still dark; she provides food for her family and portions for her servant girls. 16 She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.
17 she sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks.
18 She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night. 19 In her hand she holds the distaff and grasps the spindle with her fingers. 20 She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy. 21 When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet. 22 She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen and purple. 23 Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land. 24 She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies the merchants with sashes. 25 She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. 26 She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. 27 She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. 28 Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her”
Proverbs 31:10 – 28
Look at this scripture and see what God has in store for the men! When a man is in trouble a woman will ALWAYS find a way! Men are strong are physically women are strong emotionally and mentally. When a man of God connects with a woman of God that is the strongest bond EVER! All because God is with them and dwells in them.
Amen!

February 24th 2008 - Biblical view of relationships Part 3

David had a personal relationship with God so he called on him and not the wise men or prophets.
“Then there was a famine in the days of David three years, year after year; and David enquired of the LORD. And the LORD answered, It is for Saul, and for his bloody house, because he slew the Gibeonites”
2 Samuel 21:1
What Saul had done was affecting King David.

Relationships are a killer! If you don’t know how to handle them they can be very damaging. What kind of relationship do you have with those who are not of God? If you don’t handle the relationship correctly then you will be affected by a famine! Saul had a relationship with the Gibeonites and then went back on his word. When he wasn’t happy with then he just decided to have them put to death. How many of us have gone back on our word that we kept with our brethren? The person you betray can easily curse you and if it doesn’t affect you directly then it can affect your future generations. Be careful how you treat people!

“Now Sarai Abram's wife bare him no children: and she had a handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar. And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.”
Genesis 16:1-2
Abram didn’t consult God about what his wife told him to do. The maid servant was also an Egyptian and not a child of God. Through a relationship your desire can come to pass but as it did with Sarai, you can then despise your situation.
“And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.”
Genesis 16:4
What are you doing to cause the delay of your blessing? Abram had Ishmael! He had to wait for this child to turn 14 years old before God would finally grant him his promise. Wait on the Lord, don’t delay your blessing! If there is a promise from God then it will come to pass.
How do we know that that Adam loved Eve? The Lord didn’t give him the woman first he gave him the animals!

“And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.”
Genesis 2:18-19
There is an appointed time for your appointed one!
Biology tells us that women have an extra rib on one side of the rib cage. Women, you are biologically carrying the extra rib of there appointed! Men, you need to get that rib back!
Adam loved the ‘gift’ that God had given him, he didn’t know Eve to truly love her. When God asked him why did you ate from the tree, his response was….
“And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.”
Genesis 3:12
He totally rejected any ‘love’ for her and blamed her for his disobedience. Learn how to handle yourself in ALL your relationship, it could make the difference between life or death!

Feb 10th 2008 - "A Biblical view on Relationships Part 2"

"A Biblical view on Relationships Part 2"
Ministered by: Brother Michael

From the moment you understand how to devil with people you have to juggle lots of diiferent types of relationships.
"And when Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite, prince of the country, saw her, he took her, and lay with her, and defiled her"
Genesis 34:1
You cannot afford to be violated as a child of God. God created you in his image and gave you free will, if you fall in love with the wrong person the devil steps in at any time and then you become defiled. By his grace you are cleansed. You need to be aware of what you are getting yourself into. You have to be directed to find the appointed one. You can't keep getting it wrong or you could miss that person altogther, i pray nobody reading this has missed there appointed one in Jesus name!
You can't keep asking God to separate you from the wrong the ones. If you wash a jumper too much does it not fade!!!
Everytime someone in the body of Christ does something disgraceful the whole of Isreal feels it!
Tread carefully, be aware and honour God.
Some of us try to find our rib and 'push' it into place. When you believe you have found the person or 'rib/rib cage' and it's forced in place, can it work?? If forced won't it begin to bend or even break?? And we wonder why so many relationships and marriages fail......

Amen!

Feb 3rd 2008 - A Biblical view on Relationships Part 1

"A Biblical view on Relationships Part 1"
Ministered by: Brother Michael, Sister Antoinette & Brother Yorke

A man's strength is in his seed, if you give that to a 'strange woman' then how can you have power?
"do not spend your strength on women, your vigor on those who ruin kings" Proverbs 31:3

Samson also gave his emotional side to Delilah because he fell in love with her. A strange woman will also persist and like Delilah will 'press on with her words'.
" And the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and said unto her, Entice him, and see wherein his great strength lieth, and by what means we may prevail against him, that we may bind him to afflict him; and we will give thee every one of us eleven hundred pieces of silver.
6 And Delilah said to Samson, Tell me, I pray thee, wherein thy great strength lieth, and wherewith thou mightest be bound to afflict thee. "
Judges 16:4-5

Run like Joseph!

Adam was incomplete so God prepared him a woman to 'fit' with him. God has already perfected the man but as a vitueous woman is there to birth his ministry and help his weaknesses.
Sister Antoinette

Mne should deal with women in wisdom. Men are very big on respect so be careful what you say women.
"It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman"
Proverbs 21:19
The average man does not like a woman who talks too much, apply your wisdom to your words.
Virtuous meaning excellent, merit etc. These are the qualities of that woman and how her husband must feel about her.
Brother Yorke

Relationships can't work unless two agree!
"Can two walk together, except they be agreed?" Amos 3:3
Abraham agreed to walk with God, this works in ALL relationships. The minute you agree to what the person is asking of you it's some kind of relationship, otherwise that person would just walk alone.

How do we find the appointed? Ask God!
We follow our eyes. ears and emotions too much. If you can seek God he IS love and when you learn how to love him that love will turn you around and guide you to your appionted!
If you can turst the lord and seek him he will certainly direct you to that person.

"Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things."
Proverbs 23:33
This scripture shows us how you speak about men or women shows that they are not the one for you. If someone causes you to think or feel these things then it shows they are not the one!
You are looking at death! Because we know the wages of sin IS death! But yet you are crying out to God for perfection!

"But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites"
1 Kings 11:1
Like Solomon you too as a child of God may or may have desired 'strange' men or women.
As the bible shows do not be unequally yoked. Solomon as wise as he was worshipped God and was having relationships with the devils children!
The minute you meet someone you are going to convert to their way or they will need to convert to yours. BUT if you both AGREE then you will walk together and will only need to make small sacrifises for the sake of your relationship. This must happen or the relationship will not work!
You need to have a relationship with God then you can't go wrong!

Amen!

27th Jan 2008 - True Disciplship - Evangelism Part 4

In Mark 3:14 the word ‘might’ is used as these disciples had a choice to follow Jesus. If God gives you an assignment but you don’t do it, he will arrange someone else to do it. The word might is another reminder of our free will.

“And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach,”God has called us as disciples to the secrets of the kingdom.“And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables”
Mark 4:10
(Justin)

You can’t be fit to call yourself a disciple unless you are disciplined in the things of God. You may be a child of God but if you are not disciple then what is meant to bless you will harm you. Be a disciple in every area of your life and you will be blessed. If the truth offends you then think again about doing Gods work. If we are disciple in the Word then we will exceed in life….IT IS NOT HARD, IT IS WRITTEN!!!
We have to breathe life into the world not death. There is power in your mouth! What you speak is spirit and spirit is life.
“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” John 6:63
Jesus himself spoke the truth and many of his disciples ‘walked with him no more’. How many of your ‘friends’ have separated from you since you came to Christ? Don’t pick and choose who to evangelize to! Jesus chose the devil himself!
“Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?” John 6:70
So many of us ‘Christians’ turn from the truth when the devil himself was amongst the disciples. The devil knows the scriptures and the truth, so it’s imperative you know it too!!

20th Jan 2008 - The importance of Evangelism Part 3

"Are you a disciple of Christ?"

As a disciple you will be tested so stay alert!

“For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal? 5Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man? 6I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase”.
1 Corinthians 3:3-6
You plant the seed, the pastor or minister waters it but God gives the increase. We are talking about evangelism again! Letting someone know about the goodness of God, inviting them to see what it’s about and then leaving God to do the rest. Don’t worry if the person you evangelize to doesn’t come to church. It is your responsibility to plant that seed!(Pastor Justin)

"The Importance of Evangelism Part 3
"All you need to do is just speak of Jesus and if they are chosen, they will come!
“36And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God! 37And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.”
John 1:36-37
All Jesus said to them is ‘come and see’, don’t make things difficult! Just encourage people to ‘come and see’! Jesus told people all of these things so that they will testify! You must do the same, are you a true disciple?? Are you disciplined??? We haven’t got time to take the things of God lightly, be bold and go forth!! Jesus himself said “you will do greater works then me” he is talking to YOU!
You are a witness to the truth! The truth that is in Christ. Each of the disciples found each other, they each testified to one another which lead to them witnessing and then becoming a disciple themselves.Jesus knows your roots, he knew Nathanael and called him an Israelite, that is the old skool name used from the days of Moses! He knew us from the beginning. He knows the baggage you carry, the problems you have so why try and fix things before you come to him? You are hearing and being edified by things that some people never hear! It’s a privilege to know the truth, don’t you get it?? You’re chosen!Believe what he has placed in you, Jesus himself said you have seen nothing yet!

Amen!

13th Jan 08 - The importance of evangelism pt2

When you tell people about Jesus don't take it lightly1 You have to find a way to make it sound as big as it is!

You must evangelise to your brethren, so you can encourage each other first and then go out in one accord. Evagelism starts from the chair you are sitting in! Everytime you read the word of God you are fellowshiping with Jesus, he was there from the BEGINNING!

"That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ."
1 John 1:1-3
God has designed you to walk with your chest out! You were made to have the best! God has given you what it takes to carry your generation through. You must witness to all, so start with your own people. Apostle Paul spoke to his own people, he wrote letters to the church!
If we were thristy then wouldn't we drink? So why not use the blood of Jesus as it has been given. God allows you to go through battles so you can change your mind about things.

"And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt"
Romans 13:17

DON'T TURN BACK, GO FORWARD!

Amen!

6th Jan 08 - The importance of evangelism Pt1

You have to edify peoples lives with what you do and what you say. When you share your testimonies and the goodness of God, make sure you give him all the glory! Apostle Paul was in Prison and in chains but he still testified and gave thanks to God.
"And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear."
Phillipians 1:14

You don't have to be always quoting scriptures to evangelise, you just need to arrive! If you are walking and living the word of God then the goodness of God will be evident as soon as you enter the room. We suffer for the thing's of God, but it doesn't matter because your riches and inheritance are stored in heaven. Now THAT alone is a testimony! As long as you can talk, you can testify! As long as you can testify you can evangelise!

Jesus said "I have come so no one can say they didn't know me".

You can be delivered and blessed by your evangelism. When you speak to people about God this month you never know when you will bump into your angel. Let people know where you are being spiritually fed! And even of they refuse to eat they would have at least smelt the aroma!

Amen

30th Dec 2007 - YOU are the word of God

You are a seed in your ministry, so change starts with you! When you are around people they should be drawn to you for the RIGHT reason's. Anybody who sees you MUST see the word of God! The word must be seen in every area of your life.
Paul gives thanks just for rememberance! Phillipians 1:3 reads,

"I thank my God upon every remembrance of you"

Being a part of the word is actually BEING the word itself. When we think too much about something it becomes like a chain around our neck, we all have chains. For some it's a friend, family member, job, debt or even the negative image we have of our self. We need to pray for discernment, we need to know what people mean when they communicate with us as it can greatly effect our lives and our walk with God.

Amen!

Nov 29th 07 - The Importance of dreams

Being born again isn't just about being a follower of Christ, it's about becoming a child of God.
If you believe God is with you then you can get through ANYTHING! The Devil will try to get you to bow down to him and turn from God. He even was bold enough to try it with Jesus. Daniel stayed true to od even when thing's didn't look good. He saw through the King's bribes of good food and wine and choose to eat limited vegatables given. After the 10 days Daniel and friends were in fact in better shape then the ones who had eaten well and drunk wine.

"As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams."
Daniel 1:17

This shows that God favoured them and so did the enemy King Nebuchadnezzar. So stand firm! God has a plan and what he has in store is not what you see now. Trust that he will fulfil your NEEDS! these are not always things that we WANT! Daniel 1:20 shows us that even the devil and give you props!
"And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm."
We say we are children of God but we don't always act like it. We still have to live in the world and be around worldly thing's just like Daniel did. But just like him we should turn to God first. The scripture goes onto to show that because of God's favour Daniel was the only one who could interpret the King's dream. If we could see and understand our dreams then we would all walk differently.

Amen
