May 4th 2008 - "Don't doubt God"

Stand and watch for the Lord....we must continually battle against doubt.
Don’t listen to all what others say as they will often come with negativity or things to confuse you.
When doubt arrives so does the devil and he is a liar! He told Jesus ‘I’ will give you all the kingdoms of the earth if you worship me but Jesus knew that all the kingdoms belonged to God.
Doubt sits in the middle of your revelation. God shows up during our ‘doubt’ but we don’t recognise this or even ignore it!
“And the Lord answered me and said, Write the vision and engrave it so plainly upon tablets that everyone who passes may [be able to] read [it easily and quickly] as he hastens by”.
Habakkuk 2:2
Do as the word of God says and write your visions down, the doubters will run from it. When God gives a vision or word it will come to pass. But if a man gives a vision then it can fall. If you believe in something and you are steadfast and don’t ‘doubt’ then you WILL get an answer.
Remember pride assists us to doubt.
If you have to receive the same word over and over then something is wrong. Those who doubt can lose their glory, we must learn to stop doubting it’s a very dangerous thing.
Another example of this is in the book of Judges 4:4
“Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, was judging Israel at that time. 5 And she would sit under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the mountains of Ephraim. And the children of Israel came up to her for judgment. 6 Then she sent and called for Barak the son of Abinoam from Kedesh in Naphtali, and said to him, “Has not the LORD God of Israel commanded, ‘Go and deploy troops at Mount Tabor; take with you ten thousand men of the sons of Naphtali and of the sons of Zebulun; 7 and against you I will deploy Sisera, the commander of Jabin’s army, with his chariots and his multitude at the River Kishon; and I will deliver him into your hand’?” 8 And Barak said to her, “If you will go with me, then I will go; but if you will not go with me, I will not go!” 9 So she said, “I will surely go with you; nevertheless there will be no glory for you in the journey you are taking, for the LORD will sell Sisera into the hand of a woman.” Then Deborah arose and went with Barak to Kedesh”.
Although a prophetess had told him that he would win the battle he still asked her to comes along ‘just in case’. Immediately she told him that what was coming to him would be given into the hands of someone else.
